Questions
Do I need an account?
No. Everything works signed out and offline. An account is optional and will only add syncing across devices later.
Where is my data stored?
On your phone. If you create an account, your profile is stored on our servers so it can sync; your brewing data stays on the device unless you sign in.
How does the label scan work?
You take a photo of the bag and it is sent to be read once, then the text comes back into the form for you to check and edit. The photo isn't kept.
Why does it want camera access?
Only to photograph a coffee bag label. It is never used for anything else, and you can skip it and type details in.
My grinder isn't in the list.
Add it by hand and everything works except the grind readout, which we won't guess. Email us the model and we'll add it.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Erase all data. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet.
